This 11-Year-Old Comedian Is Killing Audiences With Her Hilariously Inappropriate Jokes
Let's be honest: kids aren't very funny. Not intentionally anyway. Sure they do funny things by accident, but they're not exactly known for their comedy-timing or their razor-sharp wit. Not unless that kid is Saffron Herndon anyway. Because although she's only 11 years old, Saffron is tearing up venues across America with her outrageously inappropriate yet undeniably hilarious comedy performances.
"I think I have always liked to surprise people and make them laugh," Saffron told Bored Panda. "My dad did stand up and would come home with stories about it and it sounded fun. I was like, "I want to make a crowd of drunk people laugh.""
Saffron writes all her own material and she's performed at many different festivals and shows including Gilda Radner's Laughfest in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Dallas Comedy Festival, and Amsterdam Comedy Festival in Texas. "At first big shows were tough when the crowd didn't expect me. I realized I had to get my age out of the way early. My dad and I named the jokes I tell up front "Elephant" 'cause I felt like an elephant in the room. I come out and say, "I'm not what you were expecting am I?" They always laugh. Sometimes nervously."
When asked where she saw herself in ten years time, Saffron said "Ten years will almost double my life. Hmm. I still want to do stand up. I would like to be on my tenth season of SNL. Definitely want to star in my own series. And lots of pets."

I'm in no way a religious person, but I firmly believe that belittling people who choose to adhere to a religion simply for doing so does not make you look smart or "cool", just arrogant and narrow-minded. And no, I do not believe an 11 yo wrote this herself. I could be wrong, but then it'd be even more depressing if she had.
Bearing in mind that religious people belittle and insult the non-religious for refusing to subscribe to their ideology , or worse, threaten and attempt to scare them with warnings or what will happen if they don't, I find it perfectly fine for anyone to shine a light on the retardation that is organised religion and its followers.

Teaching kids to belittle other beliefs. Awesome. There's no way she came to this opinion or wrote this "joke" on her own. Pathetic.
Believe me or not, but she may has her OWN opinion. I remember me being and this age, how I hated when my mother, If she got angry at me, used to say that "I don't have my own opinion" and I'm "just repeating after my father". It was the worst thing she could possibly say. I was thinking and I had my opinion (of course it was changing, but still... It is the age you start thinking differently about the world, the society, religion, you wanna know what's going on in the adults world). My dad had a big influence on my mind however he NEVER insisted on anything, he never said "you have to believe (or not believe) in this or that"! He was suggesting me different points of view, answering all my questions and talking like I was the adult as well. I loved him for that. :)

Hm...I do not think it is a good idea to transfer these on-stage quotes to still images. What I guess could be genuinely funny black humour on stage get's a brat-ish appeal when reading it for yourself. After all, stage comedy is much more than clever quotes.
On the other hand: I find the images with the jokes quite funny, whereas watching a video with her, it so obviously isn't really her humour. It seems too much like she just learned by heart some jokes that her parents wrote. It's a trick pony, at least it looks like that in video.

The jokes sound exactly like what you'd expect from a 40 year old, liberal, atheist twat with his head up his a*s and a stupid affection for 90s alternative bands. Nobody with half a brain would believe that this little b***h comes up with the jokes herself

Like adult comedians' humor is clean and pure. Ever hear Bob Saget? He makes lewd jokes about his kids. And he was on a wholesome show.
