These comics basically sum up my entire life, being an awkward twenty-something in a society filled with things I'll probably never understand.
I'm always happy to hear that I'm not the only awkward human being on this planet. Let's laugh at our daily struggles and be awkward together!

The right side is totally me, only thing missing is my cats snuggling with me. I enjoy the nights when I get to catch up on my shows.
The right photo is totally me but I don't have a problem with it. Every day: dark leggings, nerdy t-shirt, sweatshirt and boots. This is what I like to wear and if anyone has a problem with it... well, I really don't care what they think.
The beauty of having a school uniform - no need to decide what to wear, no point-scoring over brands, and everyone is equal.
Nope I just have a uniform. (Unpersonalised because 1. I don't do that kinda stuff 2. The teachers would kill me)
To tell the truth I dress like the one on the left on the first day but on the rest of the days it is the one on the right.
I am the left on weekends and the right on the week days =)))
except no flats ... i hate flats ... they're uncomfortable in my opinion.
*justifiably gobbles up chocolate* ... somehow I can live with that now. :)
I'm usually singing off key in the shower also, not pleasurably moaning over the shampoo I use.
why I am never ordering from TGIFs ever again.... that burger i got was like 2 bites and cost fortune :'D
I like the sweat marks! I look so much better with bangs but I just can't do it because of the heat it creates! Even thin ones are bad! I'm not even a sweaty Sally but bangs will do it.
I think she got it right ons te "me" part and mostly wrong about te "other people" you are not that unique . Most people feel like that sometimes.
And as i've been reading the comments at the bottom already downvoted often. Just to remind people that we don't like her art doesn't mean we hate her and want her dead.

why the focus on separating yourself from others, specifically other women? sounds like internalized misogyny but ok
I am glad I am not the only person who thought this. The art style is cute, but I don't know why women (specifically introverted/awkward ones) go out of their way to make it be known they are while comparing themselves to others. I would have liked this a lot better if she didn't compare herself.

If anything, YOU are the 'other girl' you're comparing yourself to.

Anna, i find your comment interesting. You may call these "predictable themes" but I find them hilariously relatable, and it seems a lot of people do as well, which is what makes them fun. Also not sure how a comic can seem "stiff" its 2 dimensional lol, also, I don't know how she could be anymore herself, when these are autobiographical.
