I'm not really comfortable with this, TBH - the tributes all seem to be for a CHARACTER, not Alan himself. It's the MAN who died; no matter how beloved a character might be (who was created by a third party, after all), surely it's the man himself who should be recognised and celebrated for who he was, not through who he pretended to be for a living?
I came down here to see if anyone was thinking the same thing. Glad I'm not the only one. RIP Alan Rickman <3
