Every language has its nuances, but English is particularly full of challenging constructions, phrasal verbs, and idiomatic expressions. For someone that’s not a native speaker, or sometimes just from another region, it can feel impossible to grasp what is being said or to use the phrases and constructions correctly.

Native speakers themselves, however, are not exempt from making mistakes! This list of twenty commonly misused phrases was compiled by Kaylin Pound at Elite Daily. They are seen and heard on an almost daily basis, but you won’t make any friends going around correcting people with your new-found knowledge. Rather, use this list to educate yourself and use the phrases correctly.

This is really only an American problem. Everyone in Australia, NZ, and Britain say it correctly.

Irregardless is a bonafide word even though it may cause some to clench their jaw when they hear it.

Isn't this more of a spelling thing? I think both versions would be pronounced the same.
