Everyone says something stupid from time to time. Though, most of us probably get away with it pretty easily, since people just laugh it off and forget about our silly brain farts pretty fast. However, if you're one of the famous people then it's a completely different story. It appears that everything a popular celebrity says (or tweets) is carefully logged on the internet and available at all times. Especially if that person doesn't appear to be the smartest cookie in the jar or is lacking some basic education, then that kooky celebrity quote is going to be here forever.

We here at Bored Panda decided to dig into that cloud of shame and find out what are the most stupid quotes that were said by Hollywood stars and famous people from different paths of stardom. From funny to completely delusional, these interesting quotes will certainly make you feel better that you're not the one who said these things in public. Scroll below to read the dumb quotes list!

"God created the sun, the stars, the heavens and the earth, and then made Adam and Eve. The Bible never says anything about dinosaurs. You can't say there were dinosaurs when you never saw them. Somebody actually saw Adam and Eve eating apples. No one ever saw a Tyrannosaurus rex."

I mean, the Bible doesn't mention a lot of things. If your standard for truth is just what's in the book, that puts a finite cap on infinity.

I saw a t-rex. Sure it was only a skeleton but it's more evidence than I've seen of Adam and Eve. And if they were real there would be no humans left, severe inbreeding woulda killed us off in only a couple generations wouldn't it?

So my statement saying that saying people in sports and religion are against critical thinking isn’t kind gets 5 downvotes?! What’s wrong with people??! I was talking about not only my family being intelligent people but also others in the professional world, church leaders, etc. I did NOT upvote on the comment about atheists not being intelligent. I DO NOT LIKE WHEN PEOPLE AREN’T KIND AND PEOPLE THINK THAT’S WRONG? How about we don’t poke so much fun at people? Including people behind a computer/phone screen.

In fact the fossil records, combined with DNA records, combined other forms of science clearly disprove the creation myth. We share DNA with our common ancestors.

The Bible never said it was an apple... only a fruit. Apples aren't mentioned until King Solomon talked about them roughly half way through the Bible. Since there was a huge time gap between Adam and Eve dying and Solomon being born I highly doubt he saw what they ate

Actually, there were several other human beings at the time of "Adam" and "Eve" Their 2 surviving sons could not have gotten kids without women... So maybe someone saw them. If they were the only ones, then they saw each other, at least. But very many have seen the skeletons of dinosaurs. 😂

What about the fossils? God put dinosaurs' fossils in the ground just to puzzle us? Definitely many more people saw dinosaurs' fossils than Adam and Eve eating THE apple (which we're not even sure was an apple)!

We don't know a lot of what God did. Science and Math shouldn't be used to try to oppose a belief/faith. However, Everett is a little off in how he uses his deduction.

Why shouldn't science and math be used to disprove belief? Some christian scientists believe the only medicine is prayer and they let their children die in agony of diseases science can cure. There are millions of more examples of harm from superstition and religion. If your belief is wrong, then that is a bad thing. Why not try to hold as many true beliefs as possible? Beliefs should be supported by evidence.

Science and religion are not actually at odd's, despite people like this making obviously fallacious statements. Also, despite the supposedly educated who believe that they can never actually agree. I admit that the "at odds" portion does seem to be logical and prevalent....but only if people are not using real logic in either.

Well according to the bible, some people saw him. One dude even had a drunken wrestling match with god. The bible totally contradicts itself. It says that god can never be seen, then it says some people can see god, then it says one guy literally wrestled god. Silly, silly book.
