I traveled to Mynamar in November 2014 for 2 months. I applied for a 90 day meditation visa as 30 days was not enough. All you need is a letter from a monastery that is willing to host you.
It was fairly unexposed to tourism due to the ongoing political situation.As far as travel experiences are concerned, it was definitely one of my best. It’s changing fast, go now!
