Meet Kimberly Camacho—a 24-year-old singer and actor from New York who, at this point, is pretty well-known on the interwebs for her incredibly spot-on famous singer voice impressions she regularly shares on TikTok. Turns out, the girl is so talented that she can flawlessly mimic the voices of celebs such as Adele, Ariana Grande, Billie Eilish and many more. Besides, she not only shares her impressions but also gives tips and teaches others how to achieve similar results.

Turns Out, Kimberly always loved doing voice impressions, though once the quarantine started, she decided to start posting them on TikTok. Out of boredom. “I decided to get a TikTok to cure my boredom during the quarantine. I saw a lot of comedy TikTok videos, so I decided, ‘Why not?'” the woman told BuzzFeed.

Kimberly not only entertains her viewers by showing off her skills but also tries to teach others by sharing her voice-mimicking tips and tricks. “I like to break down the three most unique elements of each singer’s voice so other people can attempt the impression if they want to,” Kim explained to BuzzFeed. “I try to explain the steps in a simple way that is mixed with technical terms. That way, it will be understood by trained singers, amateur singers, and people who have never sang in their lives.”

In addition, Kim gives tips and teaches others how to achieve similar results

“When I started vocal training, I told my voice teacher that I wanted to be able to sing anything. I wanted to be vocally versatile. When I first started learning, I began to mimic artists to understand each genre’s sound and then figured out where it fits in my true voice,” Kim told BuzzFeed.

“I developed a trained ear for listening and hearing how voices differ. By listening and applying my technique, I can figure out how to modify my voice to sound like other singers. It’s a lot of trial and error, but I eventually get there,” the singer shared with BuzzFeed.

The process of learning to do these voice impressions wasn’t easy for her

“I love making the videos. They’re a great distraction right now and hopefully entertaining for those watching. I want it to remain fun and positive. I’m an actor and writer first and right now the arts are hurting, like a lot of other organizations. Any support for the arts is highly appreciated and needed,” the woman shared with BuzzFeed.

Here’s what people are saying about these impressions

There was a post that I think was here on Bored Panda from a software developer who had reverse engineered (or something similar) tik tok and said it was really a security problem to use it. Why are people still using it? I'm going to see if this was posted to Youtube. If not, I'm not going to watch the video.

Um, and why would I want to listen to any of this, regardless of her talent, when I don't listen to any of these singers imitated in the first place...?
