The jewellery line ij’ finds its precious pieces in leftover metal scrap yards. Prefabricated machined parts are reused and the material is given a second lifecycle. Huge piles of brass leftovers are looked through in order to find intriguing industrial ready-mades.
Small scratches and in-corrections that show the used metal process have been thoroughly sanded off until the surface reaches a new perfection.
Finding the right combinations with unique chosen ingredients transforms almost every piece into a ‘One Off’. The jewels are high-polished and further gold plated in order to keep a perfect un-oxidized polished surface.
