In my latest project “Girl With Flowers” I recreate the look of classical oil paintings. I was inspired by the paintings of Hans Zatzka, Zula Kenyon and Emile Vernon, which draw in the viewer with radiating pulchritude.
Hiding under a straw floppy hat, this young woman is ambling through nature, while holding picked windflowers. The colour white, which can be found in the dress, and in the flowers as well, suggests innocence and purity.
As a photographer who has their attention focused on the details, I wanted to give a more personal touch to the photographs. I teamed up with my mother, who is a professional tailor and made sure that the dress, worn by the model is hand-sewn according to my design.
This and more of my photo-projects can be found at my website, listed below.
