The Christmas And New Year’s Eve Traditions In Romania Isn’t About Pandas. We Have Brown Bears.
Every year, one week before Christmas, a festival of traditions and customs takes place on the streets of Botosani in north of Romania. Men, women and children dressed like bears, horses and goats celebrate by dancing and singing.
The parade is a part of the festival “Din strabuni, din oameni buni” and represents a piece of the Christmas and New Year’s Eve traditions in Romania.
