It doesn’t matter if you know nothing about Romania. Romanians know how to put America’s elections in perspective.
Europa FM, the international radio station, is running a campaign pro voting for the Romanian Parliament elections, that is based on the misguided and plain wrong declarations of the two American candidates. The idea is that, if Americans still care enough to vote – even when their two main choices are evidently flawed – why wouldn’t Romanians care to vote for their own country?
Finally, it’s better to be a Romanian voter than an American one. So, Romanians, let’s vote on 11th December! Despite the poor alternatives, Americans still care. Then, why wouldn’t we care enough to vote for our country?
