Exploring Australia’s relationship with the ocean, Mark goes below the sea surface and photographs swimmers and surfers not when they’re on top of the wave, but after they get underwater and forget all about posing and smiling.

The story behind this photo series is almost as amazing as the jellyfish shots themselves, and comes from the deep waters of the White sea in Russia. The shots were taken by a marine biologist and a professional underwater photographer Alexander Semenov and his team of scientific divers, who are now forced to raise funds to be able to continue their research and work.
