Mark Tipple, a rapidly emerging Australian documentary photographer, captures people completely out of their element in his Underwater Project photo series. Exploring Australia’s relationship with the ocean, Mark goes below the sea surface and photographs swimmers and surfers not when they’re on top of the wave, but after they get underwater and forget all about posing and smiling.

The story behind this photo series is almost as amazing as the jellyfish shots themselves, and comes from the deep waters of the White sea in Russia. The shots were taken by a marine biologist and a professional underwater photographer Alexander Semenov and his team of scientific divers, who are now forced to raise funds to be able to continue their research and work.

Just when it seems that nothing new can be done in the field of pet photography, here comes Seth Casteel and starts capturing dogs underwater. What is amazing that dogs love fetching things so much that they even forget they are not aquatic animals. Silly dogs!
