Photographer mommy Sophie Starzenski has created a series of beautiful self-portraits intimately documenting her pregnancy. Sophie took the same portrait in profile in front of a mirror once for every month of her pregnancy. The series is captivating for its simplicity, honesty, intimacy and vulnerability. It’s not every pregnant mommy-to-be that would be willing to bare all to the world as Starzenski has.

Being 14 years old is the time when we are still fully entitled to be careless and unburdened, but 14-year-old Zev from Natick, Massachusetts will make you feel that you could’ve done more at that age. This teenager, now better known by his nickname ‘fiddle oak’, has already become an internet sensation thanks to his ‘Little Folk’ photo series that go way beyond his age in ideas and technique.
While many photographers are in the race for the latest gear, 16-year-old Spanish photographer Cristina Otero uses her cheap Canon 1000D and 50mm f1.8 lens to create the most incredible self-portraits. In her series called “Tutti Frutti”, Otero cleverly combines various fruits with bold makeup colors creating some of the most powerful portraits I’ve ever seen. Interestingly, she doesn’t even use any studio lights. All Otero needs is a natural light coming from the window.
