Honest Slogans publishes company logos with hilarious slogans that represent how consumers might actually see the company instead of how it wants to be seen. Pepsi’s logo reminds us of its constant battle with Coca Cola for market share, while Google, assured of its dominance, dares us to just try and use another search engine.

Japanese artist Yuken Teruya has turned the new Olympics version of the McDonald’s paper bag into an intricate tree sculpture. Titled ‘Notice-Forest: What Victory Tastes Like/ London’ it is a part of a new group exhibition at Denver’s David Smith Gallery
It seems that condoms and creativity go hand in hand. Los Angeles-based artist Max Wright takes slogans of famous brands like Pringles, Nike or McDonald’s and then applies them on condom packages. Now the famous Pringles’ slogan: “Once you pop, you can’t stop” gets a whole new meaning.
Viktor Hertz, a freelance Graphic Designer from Sweden, turned well known logos into “Honest Logos”. “Some are cheap, some might be a bit funny, some will maybe be brilliant. I don’t know.” says the artist.
So, I went to some fast food places, and picked up burgers/tacos, so I could compare them with the ads. I brought the “food” home, tossed it into my photography studio, and did some ad-style shoots. Needless to say, the results of my little project were unsurprising… which shouldn’t be a surprise.
