Based in Cologne, she uses permanent markers to create mesmerizing floor and wall drawings which sometimes cover up to 5000 square ft. By carefully planning and controlling the white spaces between each line, Heike gives her drawings a 3D feeling. The space around the viewer may seem to be constantly swirling and floating, and you might find yourself losing the ground under your feet.
