A few months ago we wrote about Beau, his puppy Theo, and the adorable naps they liked to take together. Although the two pals are growing bigger seemingly by the day, it looks like they still enjoy catching some shut-eye together. It all began last Christmas, when two of Shyba’s older children, Jack and Zoe, met Santa Claus in New York and asked him for a puppy.

Sadly, most of us can’t remember our reactions to most of the new things when we tried them for the very first time. In order to capture some of these first experiences, photographers David Wile and April Maciborka pictured toddlers tasting lemon for the first time. The bitter fruit, that even adults might be sometimes reluctant to taste, called out the most genuine reactions from all of the kids, going from disbelief to shock or betrayal.
Once a photographer becomes a parent – especially to a baby daughter – he no longer has to look for a model to work with. This was once again proved by Japanese photographer Toyokazu Nagano, taking just the most adorable photos of his youngest daughter, 4-year-old Kanna. The photo series is well described by its laconic name – My Daughter Kanna – as the girl and her natural charm is just enough to fill an entire frame. Each picture is taken on the same road, with little Kanna giving all of her into each pose and mood.
If Singlhild Nystrom survives all the crazy things she’s doing, she will have one of the coolest childhood photo albums ever – all thanks to her dad’s endless imagination and Photoshop skills. Swedish photographer Emil Nystrom digitally inserts his 1-year-old daughter into such crazy situations as fixing a car, wielding a ninja sword or flying after a plane.
Photographer Jaime Moore was looking for inspirational ideas to celebrate her daughter Emma’s 5th birthday, and ended up photographing her beautiful girl posing as some of the most influential women in history. Jaime chose 5 women for Emma to impersonate, and thus her daughter became the mini version of Coco Chanel, Susan B. Anthony, Amelia Earhart, Helen Keller and Jane Goodhall.
Remember Jason Lee and the crazy pictures of his beautiful daughters? Well, it seems that he’s got some serious competition fighting for the World’s Best Father award. Dave Engledow is creating probably the wackiest scrapbook ever showing himself and his daughter Alice Bee in highly precarious situations.
Jason Lee who is a wedding photographer started taking photos of his two little daughters back in 2006 when his mom was diagnosed with non-Hodgkins lymphoma. The girls were constantly sick, with colds and coughs so he couldn’t always bring them to visit their grandmother. Jason wanted her to be able to see her granddaughters without catching their kid germs so he started a blog where his mom could see what was going on in their lives.
