U.S.-based artist Anila Quayyum Agha has created a stunningly intricate piece of installation art that covers the room it’s in with beautifully patterned shadows. Her installation work, entitled “Intersections,” consists of a large suspended cube made of wooden panels with intricate geometric patterns. A lightbulb in the center illuminates the structure from within and casts its shadows on the walls around it.

Ukraine-born artist Mark Khaisman creates truly outstanding art using something a truly mundane material – brown packaging tape. By putting various layers of translucent tape onto Plexiglass and then cutting it into certain shapes, the artist remakes scenes from old Hollywood movies, art history, certain 20th century cultural icons or his own photographs.
Wanting to pay tribute to the former restaurant on the site, The Drum, JJ’s Red Hots restaurant asked a long time friend Matt Ludwig of Ludwig Metals to install a fully functional drum fixture in the center of the restaurant. Jonathan Luther, the co-founder of Charlotte-based hot dog and sausage restaurant, made the first sketches in January, and a couple of months later the drum kit chandelier was hanging above visitors’ heads.
