Shocking Discovery Is Made After Every Book Reader On The Subway Is Photographed

Humans get bored easily, and books cure boredom for a good percentage of humans on the face of our earth, so it’s typical for us to see book readers in our daily journey. What’s so nice about a book reader is that they’re quiet, they seem humble, and maybe it even shows a different side to that person.

“The Last Book” is an interesting series of images collected by Dutch photographer Reinier Gerritsen, who spent 13 weeks over 3 years striding through the subway, looking for everyday natural people who have nose dived into a book on their way to an event. Each person he would find, he would take a portrait shot of each of them, and the discovery is amazing.

What is the "shocking" discovery? That someone in the corps would read a book about it? So what? A book tells you nothing about a person.
