In September 2015, I decided (Sophie Planque, 26) to leave on a whim in a place I had never set foot. My goal, discover everything on site without learning anything before.

September heralds the beginning of autumn, so I wanted to go in a country where the colors are magnificent. After consulting the prices of air tickets, I choosed Ivalo in Finland, beyond the Arctic Circle.

So I went, not knowing what kind of temperatures I would confront with, what type of soil, what fauna, flora which, without knowing what time rises and the sun sets, if there were mountains or hills.

The documentary ensuing lasts 30 minutes. It is an invitation to travel. It aims to discover the solo journey, what it can, incidentally present the Finnish Lapland and above all show women they can also go on an adventure like me.

It is also in a series of documentaries that I intend to write and develop on the trip on a whim. Today, we forget the spontaneous, everything must be planned, and before going somewhere, we already know what we want to see what we want to do. There is almost no surprise. I want to return to a tourism guided by the moment, the indigenous, and the hazards of the journey.

Who likes the concept follow me and support my projects!
