Director Andy Muschietti’s version of Stephen King’s novel ‘It’ has just come to the cinemas but its screenings are petrifying people even before the film starts. When England-based It fan Chris (@HG_Hohbes) went to the movie theater to watch the horror flick, he noticed an unusual viewer in one seat.

Turns out, a spooky Pennywise wannabe had crashed the event. Fighting his jumping heart, Chris snapped a few photos of the terrifying encounter and shared them on Twitter. “I’m first in the screen and this f**king guy’s just sitting there,” the caption reads.

His post got over 291K likes and 123K retweets, receiving all kinds of reactions from others. Some were amused, most were scared, and there were a few people who even said they had the same nightmarish experience. As for Chris, don’t worry, he tweeted after the film, so he’s probably ok and not floating down some sewer.

Some were petrified and feared Chris wouldn’t make it

We're all adrenaline addicts, in one form or another. This is why otherwise rational people love to be frightened for no apparent reason. It gives them an instant 'high' that no other drug can accomplish so quickly. Unfortunately, it doesn't last very long, and we have to keep getting more 'hits' to get high again. I did the same thing by jumping out of airplanes and riding fast motorcycles. This craziness is all about adrenaline. So, go satisfy your addiction. 😜

My former classmates constantly seek for more of this "drug". Last year they managed to convince me that one spinning stomach-turning thing in the mall amusement park is awesome to ride. I was totally horrified as that awful thing turned us upside down and swung us around again and again... And later, when I thought about it, I realized that I'd like to ride that satan's invention again. I think that I might have turned into a psychopath with that old school extroverted company I sometimes find myself in.
