Mom Goes To Check On Her Baby And Finds Rescued Dog Napping With Her

When Kristin Leigh Rhynehart, a mom in North Carolina, went for a routine check-up on her sleeping baby daughter Addison, she discovered that there was a gentle guardian already looking out for her. In a touching video posted on Youtube, she shows how she found her rescue dog Raven napping in the crib under the covers with her little girl.

“People that say ‘money can’t buy happiness’ have never paid an adoption fee,” Kristin wrote on Youtube. “10 years ago I left a rescue with this little guy and I often wonder…who rescued who? I gave him a home, but he gave me so, so much more.”

People, the little girl is a toddler, not a baby. She's very capable of covering the dog with the blanket. Although my pug always wriggles his way under the duvet :)

In Jamaica my mom found a lizard in my bed, she lets out a blood curdling scream for my dad. He killed it and now I'm deathly afraid of them. True story

Reminds me of my childhood dog, Solo. She used to walk me to the bus stop wait until it came, guarding me. Then sat waiting in the driveway until I came home.

Is your rescue a Corgi? These pictures are so sweet. My corgi does crawl in under the blankets, turns around and peeps his head up under the cover on the pillow. Darling dogs.

that dog didn't crawl out from nowhere, entered into the house and got in the bed with the girl. don't be ridiculous. the title is a bit misleading... and dog tucking him self in?! and leaving enough blanket for the little girl?! this is 100% staged...

Oh, please. Like the dog, or a child so young (and who's asleep) can tuck the blankets over themselves so neatly like that. Please! Aside from this being totally staged, what kind of parent allows an animal to sleep in their child's bed?

It's a cute picture but.....a staged picture IMHO....how may I ask did the dog pull the blanket up so neat and tidy to cover himself?

He probably woke the little girl up got in with her and because she's a little kid, she covered him up for naptime.
