The Pin Parvati trek in Himachal Pradesh is a unique trek in the Indian Himalayas. An almost 110 kms trek, this includes crossing a glacier, trekking along the source of two Himalayan rivers and an extraordinary binary in terms of landscape. On one side is the densely forested Parvati valley. On the other side, which does not get much rain, there is the lunar landscape of the Pin valley. And in-between all that there is the white expanse of the Parvati glacier.

Last august and September I was here. These are some images from the trek.

Finally, a bit about me. I am just another bloke who is smitten with the mountains, especially the Himalayas.
