Don’t know about you guys, but we just love looking at things really close up! So, we are very excited to introduce you to an Armenian physics teacher Suren Manvelyan who used his friends, colleagues and pupils as models to make amazing close-ups of the human eye. He never thought he would see anything like that – when viewed really close up our eyes look like some dramatic surfaces of far and unknown planets. You have to see it!

Andrew Myers must be one of the most patient artists around – he creates stunning 3-dimensional portraits by drilling 8,000 to 10,000 individual screws into a plywood panel, then paints over the head of each screw to enhance the 3D effect.

Alexa Meade seems to be really busy faking new paintings, so we thought it’s time to update our previous collection of her Fake Painting Photographs. As we’ve already mentioned in our previous article, what you are about to see, are not paintings on canvas! Alexa Meade paints with acrylics directly on human flesh creating the illusion of painterly portraits.

Alex Eylar, a 21 year-old artist from Oakland, California recreates famous movie scenes using Lego bricks. The concept and idea isn’t really that new (we already had 30 Creative LEGO Reproductions by Balakov here on Bored Panda) but it ‘s nevertheless an interesting collection.

While serious companies rarely rely on tear-off advertising, it must be the most often used and wide spread advertisement types among common people since the invention of telephone. One single photo takes up to 10 hours to prepare – Liu uses himself as a blank canvas, and with a little help from an assistant, he paints his body to merge as seamlessly as possible with what is behind him. The results are incredible – sometimes passers-by don’t even realize he is around until he moves.
