This is a series told through light and shadow. Street photography, with Landscape Photography may just be the supreme test for the shooter – and may also lead to great disappointment.
It is the kind of photography that depends on so many factors: A situation, the light, the proximity of the action – but above all one’s energy. One of my great Idols “Sebastio Salgado” has not got the best framing, nor the best processing skills but his energy behind the lens is tremendous – turning his pictures into a spectacle.
The journey starts in London – a vast city with an electric vibe. It is constantly moving. It actually took me a few hours to get into the groove of the city in order to take any acceptable picture. Shot in monochrome.
I then venture out of London into Somerset, Bath. Life slows down and I get to enjoy and capture the painterly sceneries. Shot in color.
