I have always done art. I actually do not have a memory without art in my life, and although there are more mediums then I could name chalk pastel has always called to me. The soft feeling that you get along with the ability to get your hands in there and smudge away was always a favorite of mine until I discovered Panpastel; a new medium which is like chalk pastel and paint mixed together!
Using triangle wedges (almost like makeup sponges) I create all of my original pieces or custom commissions. I am able to get the soft feeling of pastel, with much more detail then ever before.
I love how the world continues to evolve and develop new things. As long as we still take time to notice and embrace the beauty of the world at the same time.

Butterfly 14″ x 16″

I was walking in the field of my friends uncles farm when Butterfly first popped her head around her mom and looked at me. I fell in love with her incredible markings and knew I had to make a piece of art of her.
From her long eye lashes and ear hair, to her unmistakable markings on her forehead, she was a star.

Newt 16″ x 20″

Barrie lakeshore is a beautiful place, even more so when the baby foxes come out of the den and begin to grow.
Newt was one of 5 kits from the summer of 2015. He was the runt of the litter and a little trouble maker.I hope I will be seeing his family to come this summer

Oh Sheep.
This was my very first time making a piece of art of a sheep and holy WOOL!!
I could not actually tell you the amount of hours this ones wool took but it did pay off in the end
We had a love/hate relationship all the way through and I think his stubborn personality shines through it all.
