Growing up in NYC I got tired of seeing collections of photographs that only showcased famous landmarks. I knew that there were a ton of hidden gems on my island, so I set off to create “Mí Wonderland”.
“Mí Wonderland” is a collection of 35mm photographs taken over a span of 3 years on the beautiful island of Manhattan. Most of the photos were taken in the northern part of Manhattan, Washington Heights. They also spread out into the depths of the Lower East Side, Mid-town, SoHo, and Harlem.
I set out to showcase “non-landmarks”, but I had to throw in the Empire State, for obvious reasons. All of the images were photographed and printed by me and developed and framed by local shops.
