Love. There’s nothing in this world more amazing. But as these “gleefully dark and whimsical” comics remind us, there’s also nothing more painful.
The artist behind them is Gypsie Raleigh, an artist, author, poet and playwright from Portland, Oregon. “Sometimes life leaves me speechless,” Raleigh told Bored Panda when we asked the artist what inspired her. “When I fail to find the words, I try to find an image that can speak in my silence. My drawings have been inspired by everything from the deaths of people close to me, anxiety, and my own broken heart–to seeing an old bird cage or having a bad work day. I turned to art, because my parents raised me off grid in the Mount Hood Wilderness, and there wasn’t anything better to do. At the time, I was just sad that I didn’t have friends. Thank you for your gentle drawings. As a suicide survivor, the first picture is really what resonated for me. Trying to be all things to all people, especially family and trying to help, I almost died. I suffer from debilitating depression as well and it was the cause of my total downward spiral. Your art is real to life and I thank you for this.
Made me so sad I think I need to watch a lot of cat photos and videos to cheer ne up a bit...
Oh, the tears, the one with the person in bed with little time left had me bawling. My Mom is on hospice and has a coupe of months left.
These are wonderful, it's interesting to see which ones resonate more deeply with people based on their experiences
And more feels.. These ARE true but.. so sad.. and I'm already overly empathic..
It is my worst, it sound like selfish parents will use the unconditional love of kids to light their path.

These pictures sum up the mental 'trap' that we all fall in and deceive ourselves believeing love is something special and prestigious....When you stop idealizing, you escape the illusion and you start seeing things how they are and not how you think they are..
Some of these comics have something in common: they make us think of possibilities almost unimaginable. And that is the key to understanding the messages.
The last two get me as today in 16 hrs is my grandmothers funeral. The last of my grand parents.
Interesting, the energy vampire hits home, giving your heart to someone who takes it for granted, rough and it repeats, though it is a human go-to so for it to be repeated in different aspects is reasonable, dark but truthful.
Damn one of the ones , I was referring to is even darker, the 5th from the bottom even giving everything they have, wont be enough. Bloody hell, need to stop returning to them.

Only those can understand who suffered this pain...or going through this pain..they can understand the every dot of this painting...the feelings with which she drew this... There r no words fr those feelings of pain...every one just try there best to express them in words in images..but no one can succeed ...
