Artist Uses Dough And Sprinkles To Recreate Creation Of The World

Human beings have been thinking about the beginning of the universe for ages upon ages, but I think I found the answer. At least for now. Illustrator, graphic designer and author Christoph Niemann has made a super cute holiday story about how he created the earth, people, animals, Italy and Ikea shelves all from cookie dough and sprinkles. It has a great cozy, christmasy feeling to it that makes you feel like everything’s gonna be ok. My mother always told me not to play with my food, but I think this might be an exception.

Accurately called “Let It Dough”, this project originally appeared on the artist’s Abstract Sunday blog, which he writes for The New York Times. Niemann is also known for his project “I Lego N.Y.,” where he portrayed life in the Big Apple with Lego structures.
