For my master thesis project in communication design at Hochschule Mannheim in Germany, I decided to create bullet time animations using analog photography. It all started by creating a camera ring composed of 100 individual pinhole cameras for the project, titled Orbita 13. I worked in complete darkness and used the flash as a shutter. The exposed black-and-white film is developed using caffenol. The resulting pinhole photos are then finally combined into a short film.
