I Photograph The Everyday Life Of My Three Cats.

I live in the spanish island of Majorca and share my life with three cats and one human. After I got my first DSLR I quickly discovered that there were no better models than cats. So I started to take pictures of my feline companions, documenting their everyday life and post them on a Facebook page called El Reino Gatuno (spanish for Cat’s Kingdom) www.facebook.com/elreinogatuno. I was taking more and more photos, developing my skills and trying to get the best out of my camera. Soon photographing my own cats wasn´t enough so I have visited one of the local animal shelters to take pics of the cats that look for their forever homes. I have also became a volunteer of a polish social campaign “My Cat Has a Home” ( http://mojkotmadom.blogspot.com.es/)
Finally I felt ready to move on to human models, but that’s a completely different story that continues on Nyxe Fotografía.

A few words about my feline models:
Pieróg (means dumpling in polish) is a 4-year-old ginger cat who loves to go for walks (with us or alone) and explore the neighbourhood, we adopted him from a local animal shelter three years ago.
Shiva is a 3 years old, white and ginger kitty. She was rescued from the street together with her kittens. She is tiny but definetely rules the house and the surroundings – no cat will stand up to her and she even barks at our neighbour’s dog.
Jack Donaghy is a huge stray cat that visited us one day and decided to move in. It’s been two years since then and he still doesn’t trust us enough as to let us pet him. He looks like a cat version of a Husky.
