I Met A Cat Who Inspired My Business

SOMETIMES A FRIENDLY HI IS ENOUGH TO BRING TOGETHER LIKEMINDED, THAT’S HOW WE MET AUSRE – THE OWNER OF SOCIALLY RESPONSIBLE BUSINESS, WHICH MAKES KITTENISH DESIGNS.

All of the cat characters you see in her designs are TRUE ACTUAL CATS living in animal shelters who are looking for home. Sharing a mutual care for animals & love for the cats it seemed like a great idea to make a collaboration and loudly yet stylishly talk together about the adoption opportunities for these lovely fellows.

We were inspired by white ball of fur, the cat named Lisa, who is not a fan of intensive activities and likes to keep her curves in shape by eating lots of snacks. She seemed like a perfect cat icon for us.

Lisa was adopted at the same time we started making our designs and we missed out the opportunity to meet our inspiration. We decided to give it a shot and try to meet the new family of hers.

Luckily we were able to meet the owner! Currently Lisa lives with 4 siblings. The curvy figure is still there, although she’s more fit now. It’s not a coincidence Lisa appeared on the shirt. We loved her story and the fact that she still had some challenges to overcome: getting fit, learning to trust the new guardian & forget all insecurities. Her face is a symbol of each and every journey adopted cats travel through.
