My name is Jenny Kim and I am COM (Chief Overall Maker) at Overall Baby. I make and sell my overalls on Etsy.com. Overall Baby overalls are offered in infant and toddler sizes, and in a variety of fabrics and prints.
I started to make overalls back in 2006, shortly after being laid off from my job in Finance. This was after the Financial collapse, and finding in work in Finance was difficult, so I decided to start my own business.
I had spent years working for a children’s clothing manufacturer who specialized in work wear items such as overalls. The classic denim overall was our staple. I remember thinking at the time that they were a bit boring and started to wonder, wouldn’t it be fun to take a traditional item such as an overall and reinvent it?
Thus Overall Baby was born. I like to say we are reinventing the look of children overalls.
