As a fan of all these books, TV shows and movies I decided to create a refreshingly colorful infographic on gender ratio in each of them.
This is not made to belittle these works of fiction. Neither is it meant to directly criticize the works themselves or their creators. This is an observation with a hint of social criticism, because it’s very apparent that women are underrepresented everywhere in society. Which is reflected in everything we do, how we think, what we write and create, and how we perceive the world.
If it were up to works of fiction, women would only be 30 percent of the population.
