How I Froze 5500 People In A Live Event Mannequin Challenge

Have you ever come up with a crazy idea that you never thought you could bring to life? Well, I have recently. I was working at the Woodchopping World Championship (yes, it exists!) in Stuttgart, Germany when one day before the main event I came up with an idea.

The Mannequin Challenge had just conquered the internet so I thought about doing a quick one on stage with a few colleagues before the event. But then I thought to myself: why not dream big and freeze the whole 5500 people during the Live TV Show? My boss said I’ve got his permisson but it had to be amazing. Some of my colleagues said it’s impossible. I said: let’s do it. It took tons of meetings and briefings. I almost cancelled it last minute. And we did not have a rehearsal.
