The end of a long and blissful summer for the whole population of school kids and their teachers must only mean one thing, back to school you go! Though kids might cry about the end of carefree summer days, it's so much harder for the teachers. Imagine dealing with a horde of wild and unruly kids times 30, listening to their parents' complaints, dealing with all the paperwork, and getting ready for lessons for most of the year for a salary that's not so amazing. We bet that even the best teachers can lose their heads sometimes.
Now it doesn't have to be all doom and gloom, as it's a time to reconnect and share the funny stories with colleagues and classmates, discuss all the new and funny school happenings and maybe make some teacher memes. A fresh start full of optimism for the new semester. To get the right mood going, we here at Bored Panda have collected our favorite school memes and memes for teachers; they are guaranteed to give you a chuckle, students especially but teachers perhaps a little painfully.

Reality Of Being A Teacher
Stealing Supplies
Budget cuts, sadly. It's why parents have a list of supplies to buy every August, and included are items such as: scissors, tape, pencils, and tissues.
Teachers Salaries
Grading Papers
Lesson Plans
And this is the main reason why teachers need to be paid way more.
And also why class shouldn't be overcrowed. Teachers can't do miracles with 35 or more kids, there is always a risk at least one cannot have the time he/she need.
Load More Replies...Or why we need to get the hell rid of "no child left behind" because this makes teachers teach to the test, and encourages cheating. There was a nasty scandal in Atlanta recently when it was revealed that teachers altered their students' test answers. Our educational system is a joke. We need to remember the words of Plutarch: "A mind is not an empty vessel to be filled, it is a fire to be kindled."
Teachers shouldn't adjust everything to every students' culture and learning style. They have to learn at some point that schools and society don't revolve around them. Rather, on some level, they, and all of us, have to revolve around schools and society.
adjust maybe not, but if you don't understand where the students are coming from, it can be hard to figure out why they're struggling with a lesson or subject. in high school/college, yeah, they need to be responsible for themselves, but in like 1st-2nd grade learning to read and write and do simple math, it's more important that they have the basics.

This is why teachers are leaving the profession. It. Is. Overwhelming!
I remember waayy back when I was in school. (I'm only 49) We never had more than 20 students in each classroom. Now they pack those rooms with 35+ students. I don't know how teachers manage to cope with that, that's like teaching 2 classes at the same time. Plus, they have more work to do when they get home. They have to grade papers, come up with lesson plans, prepare the tests and quizzes, etc. And they buy a lot of supplies with their own money because the kids don't always have everything they need. Some don't even have pens, pencils, or paper. Here's a thought, if you can afford to, when you are buying your own children school supplies, (throughout the year) pick up some extra stuff to donate to your child's class. When my daughter was in school I always sent some extra stuff for the teacher to give to the class. Go to a Dollar Tree, Dollar General, or Famly Dollar. Anything you can do to help your kids teachers will make a big difference. And I know they will be grateful.
Some of you might say..."Why should I, they're not MY kids?". And while that is true, remember they are JUST kids. It's not their fault that their parents can't get their school supplies, for whatever reason. You wouldn't be doing it for the parents, you would be doing it for the kids, and for the teacher. And you would be doing a good deed by helping those who really need it. Everyone says teachers should make more money, and I definitely agree. But, I don't see that happening anytime soon. And this is one of the only ways, that I know of, that WE can help them out. I really don't know how they do it, the ones that stick with it must be some really dedicated teachers. There is absolutely NO WAY I could be a teacher to kids of any age, I don't have the patience or that kind of dedication. But I can donate some supplies every now and then. So, next time you're in a Dollar Store check out the school supplies aisle. Every little bit helps. If you made it this far, Thank You for reading!

I feel like, if being a teacher is soooooooo stressful, just find another job.

Always fascinated me how they managed to do that. Sometimes I can't even understand my own writing!

Always The Teacher's Fault
I always hated those kind of parents that try everything to blame the teachers for doing their best, while the truth is that they just suck at being good parents.
Funny Teachers
Summer Break
Last year in my son class a mother went mad (and insulting)against the teacher because she asked to talk about the kid's behavior (rude, violent, always dissipated). The teacher was polite, the mother was'nt, refused to talk in private so that all the school withness the scene and knows about the kid's behavior. She changed him for another school arguing that the kid was nice and was only bold with this teacher so that was her fault. Met her a few times this summer while at the park with my own trolls. Last week she was upset hollidays were hell too long and that her kids was driving her mad, teachers were overpaid and didn't deserve so much vacations. So I told her she should stop bad mouthing about anyone who accept to deal with her monster and 25 other kids all day long when she was fed up after few weeks. She probably will never speak to me again.
All Hell Breaks Lose
Its true, I'm a school guidance counsellor and if the teacher leaves the classroom when I'm giving a presentation its like trying to control a pack of wild, drug addled gibbons

Put Your Name On It
I taught grades 4-8 during my career. I used to have a black shoebox with a tombstone on the top of it. The tombstone read, Here lies papers without a name, unloved, ungraded, what a shame. The student(s) missing work had to do it over. The students all thought that was hysterical and wanted to be the one who buried the paper. The weird thing was, I never had one parent complain, they obviously never told them about the paper graveyard.

i always used to pack my own bag, make my own lunch and do all of the necessary things. I find it really stupid how some parents pack their own child's bag.

you can tell what ones are made by teachers and what ones are made by students quite easily. I think that it's pretty funny.👌
I've had two very significant experiences with both types of teachers. One who was nurturing, went the extra mile to help whenever or with whatever I needed assistance with...encouraged a love of literature by inviting us to come over before school to read from her personal library, etc. The other... talked down to me constantly, told me I would never pass my exams and that I would never make good enough grades to get into the school I chose...ignored me in class and basically treated me like c**p because I wasn't up to the 'standard' of her preferred students. It's been over twenty years since I've left school and I remember both teachers as if it were yesterday. When I think of one...I wish I could have given her a huge hug and a million dollars before she died. The other...makes my skin crawl and a lifetime of insecurity. Teachers do make a difference... It's up to each individual the kind of impact they have on a child and how that affects them in their lives, going onward.
We had a nice and sweet teacher, but when we talked during her lessons she walked to the door opened it and slammed it very loud. You could hear it in the entire school building.
I'm a teacher and I feel damn lucky. Amusing stuff but get over ourselves people.
Today is the only day I'm happy to be sick. I kid gave me conjunctivitis and I have to stay home for three days not to give it back to them. I'm being paid and substituted so I can sleep and recover my eyesight. This week is good.
