My name is Sara Zaher, I’m a visual artist, and I reimagined how time might have taken its toll on iconic figures of the 20th and 21st century.
This series, which combines digital collage and photo manipulation is an attempt to humanise figures that have become sanctified within our cultural psyche. By choosing to edit recognisable photographs- the aura of the celebrity remains underneath the layer of skin and wrinkles.
