David Bowie’s Death Hit Me Hard So I Recreated His Album Covers
I grew up on David Bowie. As a teenager, the chameleon outsider helped me transform from teenager to young man to creative adult unafraid of change or being seen as different. When he passed away on January 10, part of me died. Part of me was lost.
To mourn his death, I decided to merge myself, family, and friends into his album covers, spawned during the span of his illustrious career. Slowly it helped me make sense of his loss, and rekindle with a man and an artist that I love dearly. R.I.P., Starman.
