The AquaDom is the world’s largest cylindrical aquarium with one million liters of saltwater, and it is a stunning habitat for many species of tropical fish.
Inspired by the colors of popular social media websites, Venezuelan graphic designer Lumen Bigott created a unique line of Social Media shoes. The collection includes Facebook, Twitter, flickr, Google, dribbble and Wikipedia sneakers. Unfortunately, these shoes are in concept stage, but Lumen says they may see the light of day.
Guadalajara-based studio Hernandez Silva Arquitectos has recently designed the new interior of a penthouse situated on top of a 70′s Mexican colonial building in Guadalajara, Jalisco, México. Spanish installation artist Alicia Martin transforms thousands of old books into giant waterfalls which pour out the windows straight into the streets. Her massive installations have been installed in various places across Europe, however Martin’s most recent series, known as Biografies, are based in her hometown, Madrid. These gravity-defying book sculptures from her Biografies series were installed in the three of Madrid’s historic buildings, each installation consisting of approximately 5,000 books.
I have been following Ben Heine on flickr ever since I first saw his amazing Pencil Vs Camera series back in 2010. He is an outstanding photographer, and we are more than happy to share some of his new works along with the ones we’ve missed earlier. Belgian painter Ben Heine has been taking photos and drawing almost since he was 10 years old. This “Pencil Vs Camera” series is nothing but the result of several years of graphic exploration and a logic consequence of his artistic evolution, says Ben.

Shanghai-based artist Hong Yi, also known as Red, used 750 pair of socks to create a rather unusual sock portrait of famous Chinese film director Zhang Yimou. Yi, which is famous for her Coffee Stain Portrait, spent over three weeks on the project and used black, white and grey socks.
Jason Lee who is a wedding photographer started taking photos of his two little daughters back in 2006 when his mom was diagnosed with non-Hodgkins lymphoma. The girls were constantly sick, with colds and coughs so he couldn’t always bring them to visit their grandmother. Jason wanted her to be able to see her granddaughters without catching their kid germs so he started a blog where his mom could see what was going on in their lives.
