Woman Receives Screenshots Of Fiancé’s Affair Texts Just Before Wedding, Reads Them Out Instead Of Vows
Bride-to-be Casey stood shaking at the altar in front of her family in front of her friends on what was supposed to be the happiest day of her life, but instead, it was the beginning of the end for a 6-year relationship and everyone was going to bear witness.
Casey thought that her fiancé-to-be, Alex*, was the one, but as she wrote in her tell-all post on Whimn, the night before her wedding she received a text that changed everything. Surrounded by her bridal party, she was bombarded with a series of screenshots from an unknown number accompanied by a simple message that read, “I wouldn’t marry him. Will you?” The screenshots were a variety of lewd conversations between Alex and another woman, including selfies of the pair. The affair evidence ranged from months to only days before their planned union.
Crushed, she wondered how he could do this. Her loyal friends said she should call him and call off the wedding, but Casey was too shocked to make a decision. “Every word like a dagger in my heart and my wedding was only hours away. How could I cancel when everyone had already traveled to be there and everything was paid for?” The next day the scorned almost bride-to-be had made her decision – the wedding day would continue but with some slight changes.
“I walked down the aisle with leaden feet, my dream dress now just a costume. As he saw my face he knew this was not an ecstatic woman on her big day, but he had no idea what was coming,” and neither did anybody else in the crowd.
“There will be no wedding today,” announced Casey, “It seems Alex is not who I thought he was.” She pulled out her phone hiding beneath her bouquet and began to read:
“This weekend. You and I. It is on, hot stuff. Bring your A game.”
“Your body is fucking incredible. And shit do you know how to use it. I wish my GF had half the skills you do.”
“I miss you so much. I can’t stop thinking about L, S, F’ing you. I’ve never had this kind of connection before.”
The brave no longer bride stared at the colorless face of her ex-fiancé. Speechless, Alex stalked out of the church. Casey turned to speak to wedding audience: “I love all of you and as horrible as this is I’m glad you all are here. There will not be a wedding reception today, but instead, there will be a celebration of honesty, finding true love and following your heart even when it hurts.”
While nothing about this bride’s wedding day went as planned, as she tells it, it was still one hell of a party. (Facebook cover image: shutterstock / Sergii Sobolevskyi)

“Alex and I had been together for six years. I felt he was The One instantly. Our families became friends, our lives were entwined, and I believed we’d live happily ever after”

“On the last night of my unwed life … my phone buzzed from across the room. But this text wasn’t like the other wishes of luck and love. This text took us all by surprise and changed everything in the heartbeat”

Share on FacebookI wish BP would stick to being what it says on it's internet description: "Bored Panda is a leading art, design and photography community for creative people." (I miss that). Instead of feeding into this type of social-media-driven drivel. Thank goodness at least these people weren't Kardashians!
Yes, please...back to the old days of great art. Haven't seen much here lately, except for the "relatable" comics.
Load More Replies...Regardless of this being fake or not, I gotta laugh at the people complaining that she "embarrassed" her would-be groom. He cheated on her, why would she owe him any respect or protect his reputation? I bet all of them are cheating a-holes as well.
Agreed. How embarassed must she feel to have been tricked into putting on a gown and inviting all of her friends and family to witness a wedding built on lies?
Load More Replies...I think that anyone who declined an invitation to that wedding made a big mistake.
Regardless if this story is true or not, one of the commenters up there seems to think she married him. Some people should really learn some reading comprehension.
"You'll be shocked when you read this article!!" - Someone had an affair, the girlfriend found out, they didn't get married...Mmm, wake me up when the next article about floofy doggertons comes out...I've always got time for floofers
New floofers! Photos of Spanish Greyhounds, heartbreakingly sad but, beautiful.

Sounds like they would perfect for each other to me 😊🤣

This is a story from whimn.com.au. They themselves call it a story. It is unclear how much of this is made up. Besides that, why would anyone be so selfish to send this stuff the night before a wedding and maybe not at least a few days earlier? And who would proceed as the one who has been cheated on to the point of vowels? And how could the partner not notice? If she can hide her feelings (which must have been rather strong if "the One" cheated) from him until the vowels, you pretty much know that marriage wasn't the best idea anyway as this couple not only has a cheating problem but suffers from a lack of mutual understanding. But again, it is unclear whether any of that happened as laid out in a story.
I now even regret commenting this. Browsing the story on whimn.com.au leads to inconsistencies and trying to imagine the situation it feels like this is a nice movie plot rather than something that happened as told. They allegedly had "on hell of a party" afterwards. Really? All the shocked grannies and aunts? Or just the bridesmaids? Oh, just like in Sex and the City, part 15? Well...
Load More Replies...I can't believe people are siding with the guy or putting down the girl. She did the right thing. She was disrespected and lied to. Her family and his family and everyone involved was. And the man she was committed to did it. He deserved more, but she did the classy thing. Either way everyone's time was disrespected and wasted and maybe he and other's learned from it. She got what she could out of what was to be her wedding day, and she explained to everyone why she was getting cold feet.
Seems like maybe he broke up with the side piece just before the wedding maybe, and she got her revenge by sending all the texts? At least the bride got saved from marrying a piece of trash. I think reading the texts at the altar was pretty restrained, all things considered.
Could have been the side piece just thought she had a right to know...if she actually wanted the groom for herself she would have caused a ruckus further in advance she knew he was not single
Load More Replies...i love the comments from men about how she did him a favor & humiliating him was uncalled for LOL. I guess those kinds stick together.
I love how instead of hiding it and getting into a toxic relationship, she humiliated him in front of everyone
He's a cheating a*****e & I'm so happy she found out before marrying the POS! She handled the situation with grace & excellent composure, as most would have killed the man LOL He DESERVED all the humiliation he got! I still don't get the side piece though, he was good enough to jump in bed with and ruin and 6 year relationship but, she wouldn't marry him? That's a perfect example of a true HOE!
Wow thats crazy to find out the night before your wedding that your fiance is a complete jerk. Kudos to that girl for being strong, and not marrying that man. He clearly never deserved her. She can move on to someone better. Also those last three comments are ABSOLUTELY APPALLING! Especially the second to last comment that said the no longer bride would be a terrible wife. My goodness! Why would anyone side with the man who cheated and shame the girl who was wronged! Mmm unless they were once/are cheaters themselves. But then again we are in the last days and the world is waxing cold. So those comments aren't a surprise but just a reminder of the perilous times we are in.
Ah, the classic "bothered bride" story. Been around since at least the 80's, maybe longer. Check snopes.com.
I think that young woman was smart and brave. Too easy to just send him a message and let him get off scott free without a thought. No I am with her go the whole way the embarrass and humiliate the hell out of that bastard and let the world know including his own family just what sort of a man he is not! I hope that he never finds true love and after 6 years of treating his girlfriend/fiancee like a piece of s**t while he has a great time with someone else; he does not deserve a good woman. Good on her for having the guts to stand up to him in public it is much easier to get over. Her time will come she will meet someone worthy of her loyalty!
Hope he never finds true love . Wow. What a sad person everyone deserves a second chance and no one deserves what she did to him. Tell him in private she's done and move on... THAT was the adult thing to do. Too bad she is a five year old monster . PS this is made up anyways lol

I would have asked my parents (or whoever was paying for the wedding) to join me in issuing a lawsuit for the wasted cost and maybe nervous shock, and would have served the groom with the summons at the altar. He's obviously "not fit for the purpose."
Not sure how I would have handled that. I don't think I would have bothered to walk down the aisle, though. But I think going ahead with a party was a good idea. You've already spent the money & everyone's all dressed up anyway. Why not? I'd sell that dress in a heartbeat, too!

Not necessarily.A man I was involved with for about 14 months left my bed and went to his wedding in a town about 30 mi away and I never knew about it until I read the newspaper when it published the wedding picture about 2 weeks later.During that time after his wedding..he was still coming to my house everyday..often leaving at 4 or 5 am.I actually felt sorry for his "wife" but didn't contact her..I just broke things off.I always felt like she should have been told but I didn't have the stomach to do it.

Even if this legit happen. Both are pretty terrible people. He for cheating but her for using it to destroy him . Even if he "deserved it" by this sick world's standards, that someone would be able to INTENTIONALLY inflict this on someone in front of others as opposed to dealing with it in private is a true monster. People despise me.
I'm glad she did what she did. Public humiliation really sucks- and this guy deserved it big time.
They're fake photos. From the internet. For PRIVACY reasons.
