The majority of us are familiar with the saying that "black don't crack." Naturally, due to the melanin, dark skin usually ages slower. But these celebs seem to go against the laws of nature and have us thinking "what the hell is in the water they're drinking?" As Black History Month is still going strong, Bored Panda has decided to make you a list of the celebrities that, in our opinion, are aging backwards, unlike the rest of us folks. So scroll down below and leave a vote for those that you like the most! In addition to this, prepare to be shocked when you see how old all these famous people are.

I'd bet if you saw them up close, with no make-up, wigs, hair dyes, photo filters, dermabrasion or fillers, you'd see fine wrinkles and grey hair. Sure, as black people they don't age as intensely from sun or whatnot as other people do, but they get help, both with their appearance and their lives, so they also have less stress compared to non-rich, non-celeb people. I'm part black, and while I don't look like what most people presume 50 year olds look like, in my magnifying mirror *I* see the fine lines that I didn't have at 35, or even 45. That said, Pharrell's a freak of nature, and for someone who's closing in on 100, Cicely Tyson looks great!
Exactly! I have to say, I'm a little tired of this subject. Too many ways to enhance and improve in a photo. Back in the day, we didn't have all that. What you saw is what you got lol
Load More Replies...How are you going to honestly say they haven't aged when many of them are using plastic surgery, lots of makeup, and app filters on the photos? I can agree that some have aged very, very well, but some of this is just fake, fake, fake.
There are things called makeup, plastic surgery and pricey anti-aging creams, see the white cases: Jennifer Anniston, Paul Rudd, Mila Kunis, Gwen Stefani, Jane Fonda - you know the surgeon's knife has helped to create their mysterious 'eternal youth' in some of these cases, Paul Rudd may just be lucky but who knows. Also some are wearing sunglasses, that obscures bags under eyes, crows feet.
I'm pretty sure Paul Rudd is either immortal or somehow pickled in pixie dust when not in the public eye.
Load More Replies...I'm tired of these posts praising celebrities for looking young. Of course they look young because they can afford it. "Not aging" is only for the rich, and there's absolutely nothing wrong with "looking your age". It's time we stop idolising youth to the point where we're willing to spend so much money so we can cling onto how we looked twenty years ago
I agree. Aging is often beautiful when people accept it. I hope I can as I get older.
Load More Replies...This is kind of silly -- none of them look younger than they used to -- and sometimes it's just good make-up, flattering photos, or plastic surgery -- or just "good genes" or other flukes. I'm 60 (white BTW) but I don't have wrinkles and my hair is still (barring a few white hairs) brown -- I probably have Graves Disease to thank for the first, and the biologics (injected medicine for Psoriatic Arthritis) that I used about a decade ago. My mom and grandmother similarly looked much younger than their age -- it's just the genetic roll of the dice.
Unfortunately, a lot of those people pictured have been physically and photographically touched up. People over 40 with no lines of any kind, that's just impossible. That being said, there are some incredibly beautiful and talented people on this list who look great just the way they are, aged and all.
All gorgeous and genetics plays a huge role but you know the money ain't hurting their aging
As a black person, I can attest to this. My mom is 57 and looks like she is 27. When I graduated from college in 2015 one of my professors was surprised that I was graduating because he thought I had just graduated from high school. I was 29 at the time. I know that some people are going to point out things like plastic surgery and makeup, but I don't wear makeup and none of the women in my family do either. People just assume that we are younger than we are. My uncle's wife was surprised that I could drive because she thought I was 14.
It's the same with Asians (I'm Asian) most of the time I'm mistaken for a teenager and I'm already in my 30's. There was this one time I went back to my high school to get a copy of my diploma and one of the TA's thought I was skipping classes :^D My mom is 66 and people think she's in her late 30's or early 40's

A young white boy came to my house to sell replacement windows, when he found out that I was 48 and had a daughter his age, he said, “God my mother is your age and don’t look like you”.
Look up Bill Burr on how Black people know how to take care of their skin. Lots of lotion
