Actually, I did that 12 years ago: resigned job and apartment, sold car, took al my savings and left the country. Starting from scratch. No more insecurities, no idle fears, breathing again.... Best choice ever - for me!

Doing something kind for someone really, really helps me. Supporting my wife, for example - it takes away all my self centered (!) thoughts and "fears". We have a children wish - so, it may sound stupid - but while this will cause "stress" it also shifts my view to the little thing requiring attention. Other than that: distraction helps a lot. Eating: be careful, I realized too late that I started to overeat as it made me feel "happy" - gained 10kg, now back to healthy dieting (less calories - no sports currently because see earlier images...sucks...)

Don't beat yourself up because you take meds. If it works for you, do it without feeling bad. You change a lot during a lifetime so one day all the work you do to make yourself feel better will pay off and you may no longer need meds. If not you will be good under med treatment like many others (like those who have diabetes, asthma or high blood pressure and take medications daily without feeling guilty)
