Book Igloo by Miler Lagos

Colombian artist Miler Lagos constructed this entirely self-supporting book igloo using nothing more than carefully aligned books. Titled ‘Home’, this dome-like installation was on display at MagnanMetz Gallery in New York City late last year.

Television legend Dick Clark is selling his one-of-a-kind residence in Malibu for $3.5 million. The single-story structure with it’s rocky interior looks just like the home of Fred and Wilma from the classic 60′s cartoon. The whole property sits on more than 22 acres and is waiting for a new owner. Unfortunately, animal appliances are not included in the deal.

These wonderful photos were taken in 1961 by Ralph Crane documenting “Black Cat Auditions in Hollywood.” A shot of Vincent Price suggests that this audition must have been for Tales of Terror (1962) by Roger Corman.

Underwater Ink Photography by Alberto Seveso

Italian graphic designer and illustrator Alberto Seveso released another mesmerizing collection of underwater ink photographs. The images were made by taking high-speed photographs of ink mixing with water, but unlike the previous times, the artist mixed two colors and titled his new series ‘a due Colori’. The result is so powerful that I think I’ll be riding these ink waves tonight in my dreams, just like his Ink Riders.
