As we've seen already, animals seem to be pouring into the city streets as people retreat to their shelters amidst the COVID-19 lockdown. And while at first it was only deer, boars, horses, and sheep taking over the civilized world, now it seems like countless others have joined the cause all around the world. And this time, even dangerous predators like bears, mountain lions, and wild pumas are prowling in the streets.
We reached out to one man who witnessed a gator casually strolling in Myrtle Beach in broad daylight to get a first-hand report of the events. "When I first saw the gator, I didn’t think it was real. I thought somebody was playing a practical joke on me," Clifford Sosis told Bored Panda. "I like to take dangerous hikes in interesting places with my dog Daisy, hikes where I might be bitten by snakes and gators," the man explained and also added that recently, his expeditions have grown fewer and fewer since the birth of his son.
Clifford is a philosophy lecturer at Coastal Carolina University who runs a website featuring autobiographical interviews with philosophers.
"On the day I took the gator video, I went to Barefoot Landing because I was trying to avoid danger! Shortly after I took this video, I was watching the gator, and a security guard, the only other person in Barefoot Landing at the time, didn’t see it and almost ran into it," Sosis revealed. "When I told him to watch his step, he was shocked! He said he thought there were no longer gators in the area." The man also added that some people on the internet have reported seeing gators in the area as well. "I’ve been living in Myrtle Beach for 6 years and I’ve never seen a gator in Barefoot Landing. Definitely not in the parking lot!" Sosis concluded.

With everybody in lockdown, yes they still have natural food sources but they still need help from time to time. Since humans evolved on earth and are not an alien species that is not true, we are just a very successful species. Many people love to bath in the guilt but that isn't helping anybody. If you feel so guilty that you see your species (which mans yourself) as an invader get your butt up and do something for a change. You don't need to save the world you just need to change yourself then you are a good example that others can look up to, respect and follow. And that is how things are changed for the better. The thing is: it's so much easier to sit depressed of how bad things are on the couch than to stand up and change your life for something better because that requires effort. Chimps by the way act not different than humans, only difference is they didn't develop technology.

It would be great to have some semblance of this everyday, virus or no virus. Realistically we could, a world wide commitment to stay home a bigger percentage of our time. Perhaps too simple but it would still be great!

It didn't take long for these fake pictures to make their rounds on the internet.... Such as the civet, which was actually spotted in 2016. Conservationists are asking us to not believe this fake news, it's hurting their efforts. Come on, it would take years, even decades, for some of these animals to recover from the damage we have inflicted upon them. Use your brain and stop believing things just because you want to due to a guilty conscience.

Depending on where you live, there's really nothing unusual about any of these. Where I live, it's quite common to see deer, coyote, javalina, and foxes. Have been told there's cougars about but haven't seen them myself. Have seen bears reported on local news.
The animals were here first. They're very grateful we squatters have disappeared.

To bad poaching is increasing as well. Many endangered animals are shot in the wild during the lockdowns.
The article has mountain lions and 'wild pumas' in the description. Anyway that the author can fix this as they are the same species. It depends on the territory. Mountain lions, cougars and pumas are the same cat.
The virus is extremely sad, however, we will learn much from the experience, to know or to see the cleaner air, and our water, much less pollution for the animals and us, I think the world slowing down, after the virus would be positive , I would love to see , no shopping on Sundays, perhaps not realistic, but there is not enough family time !!!
Think about this. The virus started in China. They lied and hid whats going on with it. They could have contained it. They let it spread hoping it would cripple the American economy and America will come crawling to them to borrow even more money to pay for all of the stimulus bills that'll be passed. Conspiracy? It's the perfect plan for world domination!
