22 Unbelievable Places that are Hard to Believe Really Exist

Our world is so full of wonders that new and amazing places are discovered every day, be that by professional photographers or amateurs. Different geographical locations, climatic conditions and even seasons offer the widest variety of natural wonders: pink lakes, stunning lavender or tulip fields, breath-taking canyons and mountains, and other places you can hardly believe actually exist!

Some of the pictures in this collection will be of all natural sights you can find while traveling around the world, while the others have experienced human interference – but even in these cases, the result of such collaboration is spectacular. The Japanese learned how to tame thousands of orchids and form a romantic tunnel out of them; another one was formed all the way in Ukraine by a passing train; and what eventually ends up as hot tea in our mugs, first grows in stunning tree fields in Asia.

No wonder that traveling in one of the best forms of recreation – even looking at these pictures takes your mind to far away places… And yes, all those of those places are real!

South America is not a country. Mount Roraima is in Venezuela.

You named every other place as a country (apart from Alaska) so give Venezuela the correct recognition too.

There’s no question these are lovely images. I have seen these many times at various internet sites, often with the same or very similar headlline. I just wish more (popular culture) websites would come up with more original material, reather than cut ‘n pasting from other places.

Amazing how such a pleasing collection of images brings a flurry of faith holders. Over-stating the obvious to comment that I’m not one myself.
Normally during day-to-day life I respect the desires of others, to wish for and truly believe in what has always been -and ergo forever shall remain- a man made concept. The self idolising notion that we are in some way connected to a being that is an all powerful entity.

We are gifted, that I’ll agree on wholeheartedly. It is truly amazing to be in the here and now. If only we could all abandon our self-inflicted social and economical structure and look to the stars. If we keep ourselves rooted to this planet, chained down by greed and and the ignorant beliefs we cling so strongly to, then all that we have become shall come to an end at some point in the a certain future.

We need to rid ourselves of the evolutionary co-dependencies that bind and imprison us to this beautiful planet. We need to populate space outside of our own solar system. Failure to change our way of thinking, which sadly seems to be a very likely scenario for humanity, will only keep us here. Beautiful as it is, Earth is only beautiful because we perceive it to be so and in saying that I am not arguing against that perception -as I too hold it as well.

We are unique. We, along with all other life on this planet, are a miracle work of time and evolution. I truly believe that, if we in some way, broke the chains that bind both our bodies as well as our minds. Humanity will have earned the right to endure, and quite rightfully so. We are beautiful in so many ways.
