Once a father took his kid to a movie theater. They went to see a new film called “A New Hope. That was “A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away…”, well not so long, 1977 to be precise. I was 5 years old, and “A New Hope” opened “A New World” for me.

Since that day, that movie, I started seeing things differently. I realized that we have a force but also a dark side in us. I realize that we are not alone, that the universe is “big”, that robots can be our friends and that the laser blasters where the coolest thing in the world… Of course my dad explained me that what I saw wasn’t real and that those kind of things only exists in the movies….

…No, it wasn’t like that Santa thing that when you realize the truth you get really disappointed, on the contrary, that meant that all your fantasies, your dreams, your ideas, could come “true” at list in the movies. Films that were made to share you dreams with others and most important; to make them believe.

So with that in mind, a 5 year old kid, obsessed to create his own fantasies and share them with the world, I grew up.
It took me too much time, too many years, not to dream but to find a way I could share those dreams and stories with others and life is wise, for some reason, one day, life put a camera in my hands. And again, “A New Hope”, “A New World” opened in front of my eyes.

It’s the capability we have to dream and share those dreams what truly inspires to others. Star Wars, “A New Hope” did that for me, and now I seek to do that for others.

I will always remember that day when my father took me to the movie theater. The day “A New Hope” projected in my life.
