All your co-workers have really strange nicknames. Like “Curly”. And “Vancouver.” It is very likely Vancouver has never been in Vancouver. At this point you can’t really ask.

4. “One beer.”

The tourists are the best and the worst customers. Seriously. “One beer.” There are 20 different kind of beers here, please make up your mind!

5. Hating your uniform.

The uniforms are extremely hard to keep clean.

7. Guinness

You always hope that the customer asks for Guinness first. But they rarely do.

8. Waving

And what is the point of standing behind a lot of people at the bar and waving? Are you drowning?

9. The coasters

Picking up beer-mats and labels is the worst. How did beer get so sticky? And who is the horrible person who destroys beer-mats and leaves them on the floor?
