Photo Mashups are photos that have been edited together using several stock images to create something new. They’re usually done by artists who develop concept art for films and tv shows. This method is very helpful because it shows the producers what their concept would look like without spending a lot of money and resources. Here are ten amazing mashups made by Jeff Chapman for his deviantart page.

Snow White and the Seven Dwarves

This is an example of how the mashups are made. As you can see, there is a lot of photos used to produce the final photo of Snow White and the Seven Dwarves. The picture feels like one of those pinup poster from the 40s.

Supergirl

A Supergirl tv series is coming out this November and fans of the caped heroine are pretty excited. I say this photo does a great job of showing Supergirl in action if she was part of the DC movies coming next year. Come to think of it, this looks better than the one we saw from the Supergirl tv series trailer.

Elsa from Frozen

This is what elsa would look like if she was a real person. The ice princess looks really beautiful in this photo mashup. Although her dress looks so thin, but it does make it seem like it was made from her ice powers

The Flash

CW’s Flash tv series has had a great first season run, and by the end we got an easter egg with the helmet of Jay Garrick, the original Flash in this photo. Perhaps this is the concept they’re looking into for when they add the Jay Garrick version of Flash in the series? Maybe not.

Artemis

Unknown to most who aren’t comic book fans, the Green Arrow actually has a female sidekick called artemis. Here Jeff Chapman creates a cool concept for a real life Artemis. Her costume might be more basic than in the comics, but it does make her look more badass.

Wonder Woman

Last year DC unveiled Wonder Woman’s armor for the Batman V Superman movie and it looks amazing. But there’’s something about her original outfit in the comics that makes her iconic. Jeff recreates this outfit using various stock photos, and the end product looks just as good as in the comics.

Power Girl

Superman actually has two cousins, Supergirl and Powergirl. The weird thing is they’re both the same girl except one is from an alternate universe. When she arrived to Supergirl’s universe, she dons a costume and named herself Power Girl, as seen in this really well done photo of her in costume.

Ariel

The Little Mermaid looks like she’s all grown up in this photo. I can see that a lot of work really went into this one. The moon reflected on the ocean behind her really seals the dreaminess of this image.

Poison Ivy

Superheroes aren’t the only ones to get a real life version of themselves. Here’s Poison Ivy looking menacing in her outfit from the comics. I wouldn’t want to get tangled up in that.

Lara Croft

Tomb Raider Lara Croft is always a favorite when it comes to fanart. Who wouldn’t when she’s a complete badass in the games and in the movies. Here’s an interpretation of Lara Croft by Chapman.
